POGS stats are very slow to update. Is this normal or something else?

They only export stats every 12hours :(

Bummer. Good news is the next update will be huge.

Something isn't right. The update finally happened but it is 14K short. Slow update cycle and out of date data in the update. :hair:

the xml outputs are always a little behind the live stats for a project.

Since distributed.net's key server is down I'm throwing on more big iron to the project.

I plan on running some POGS again soon, need to up my hours (http://stats6.free-dc.org/user/wup/84) as I'll have my first sapphire star soon and then want to get 40apps up to green to get my second green star..

Turn the new stats server loose on it. Today the weather is cooler so I could keep some of my systems running all day vs just at night. I'm somewhere around 230 threads currently.

Honestly, I still haven't got it staying cool enough. Even without load it's hitting 70C :( In a few weeks when I have a little more time I'm going to pick up some better coolers.

I did pick up a Dell T7500 too off Ebay, so that's going to do some stats also. That has 2x3Ghz hexcore cpu's, so 24 threads. Runs completely silent at load. Got 48Gb Ram in it, but can hold 192Gb.

My current plan is to split up stats generation across a few servers, which will speed things up considerably. Non BOINC will go on one for instance.

Hmm something must not be right with the cpu's. Did I send you any with the second board? I have a pair of 2.4Ghz 4c/8t that should run cool.

no it's using those same 3.2Ghz ones (I think that's what they are - engineering samples ? )

They should be full production. I believe they were first generation QPI bus. The 2.4ghz procs I have are from a die shrink and were rated at 80w vs 130w of the 3.2ghz.

Would the X5570 work in that board? I see them on Ebay fairly cheap, could pick up two.

It should. I believe it will work with x55-- and x56-- processors.
