When posting about a bug can you include as much information as possible especially if it is a layout issue as these maybe very specific to the browser being used and if possible a screenshot :)

Current Issues being worked on:
Layout Issue - Being Resolved, need more info, working fine in Firefox v3.6.28, v9.0, Chrome 18.x , Safari (latest), IE 8 in Compatibility mode.
Font size - Resolved, it should be back to 11pt.

The charts no longer have that 3d look as we have switched to a different plot engine which is using the Canvas ability of HTML 5 to render the charts, I know there are few minor issues and 2 pages have yet to be switched over but I am working on that too.

Somehow suddenly 2 CPDN-Projects (BBC and Seasonal) popped up in my stats (http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=999daca9efac06bffb127a67d9c47f12), with exactly the same credits as main project.

I never ever crunched for BBC, just had an account there.
And my credits from Seasonal (http://boincstats.com/de/stats/25/user/detail/3659) are just over 10K, not over 1M.

Any idea what went wrong?

Looks like the CPDN guys have expired or redirected that Seasonal Attribution website back to the main CPDN one, so my scripts pulled down the files from there and uploaded them as Seasonal Attribution,

I'll have to restore them and switch them off.

I still have my 25M-Milestone in the stats for yesterday, while that was just because of the 2.2M credits I've got temporarily from SAP and BBC. Is it possible to reset those as well with no more then one ore two clicks for you?
Don't bother to mess too much with the database, it's just a minor inconvenience.

Hello folks,

I have noticed that following the latest reset of Free-DC Stats, due to the latest outage, that my "User Monthly Scores" are now longer depicted in the graph at the bottom of my Free-DC stats page. That graph now displays a 0 half way up the left margin with a solid horizontal white line running across the graph from it. Is anybody else experiencing this? Is there a way to get back previous "User Monthly Scores"?

Slight issue overnight. I was doing some maintenance on some users on the db server yesterday and must have messed up one of the ssh keys, os the script was sitting there waiting on a password as it transferred a file over to the webserver. Running again now, it'll take an hour or so to catch up with everything. It may or may not do the rollover, I think it will though..

I noticed it too.
It looked like it was Aqua.
It was ok in the Overall stats during the rollover.
but it took on my old CPID during the stats update affecting the user's Combined total
then came back to the current CPID at the end of the rollover correcting the user's Combined total
2 days in a row.

at least that's how it appeared to be.

Could be different projects for different people?

I *think* it should correct itself soon. It was an index issue on the combined user table in one of the databases. I've repaired that. The same table in the second database was fine, so that was why you sometimes seen it correctly and other times not.

It may show negative #'s briefly on the next update, but they will then correct themselves.

It would 'corrupt' the whole stats so I would need a very good reason in order to delete what is public data for one user (I'm assuming you just don't want to be affiliated with that particular project any longer).

And if I did do it, then it just opens the door for others to request the same so I'm inclined not to right now.

What I might consider is hiding or otherwise obscuring the data so it's no longer linked to you though.

Your assumption is right. Moreover, that record ( 4 670 ) imo is pointless to have in stats. It's dosen't saying anything, only corrupts rest of stats, visually. :crazy: Yea, call me crazy, but i would like to have clear stats, with nice checkpoint and not with those "1 point accidental projects participation". This project died from day to day, so i didn't have time to "escape" from it. Don't know if that is good reason for You.

I'm using only Free-Dc stats for boinc ( imo best manage and best looking stats site ) so only signature from it is what interesing me. If this can be made without many troubles, I would be happy. If not, no problem, I survive. ;)

I figured best to post preemptively - you may see large negative numbers on PrimeGrid stats. They just moved servers on Sunday (http://www.primegrid.com/forum_thread.php?id=5233) and an old stats file was unfortunately waiting on the new server and was pulled down by free-dc. This should correct itself automatically once the stats cron job runs again on PG.

It's not 56% of the team it's 56% of the top 10 in the team there in lies the difference... There is no way to work it out as a % of the total team since it only shows the top 10...

I think it's a timeout issue where the variable was not initialized. Corrected. as soon as the cache expires.

Forum and stats websites are crawling - very slow to the point where stats are not operating

I was able to connect to the server but did not find any OS or application issue.
Processes are running normally.
It's not an i/o or isp issue either.
Only thing I can see is dev sdc is running hot - 9C over threshhold - not critical.

Needs some Bok magic.

I am used to a 16k difference in my scores between BOINCStats and FreeDC, as each of you has its own cut-off moment for retired projects (and in the case of FreeHAL that more than 15k with me)
Today, however the difference is 200k. Scores have not been refreshed for at least 8 hours (went to bed with the same scores as with those when I woke up, 8 hours later. BOINCStats shows nice increase).

You can see all the Last Updated times on the right-side of the All Projects page:

Sometimes when there are connectivity issues with one project it can slow down the updates to stats from the other projects.

The pages are cached, usually it's only for about 30mins max though and even then it's only if someone has requested that particular page.

may be unrelated, but I have posted about users missing from the Enigma stats export here:

multiple users are missing from the extract file. Don't know why. It's an unusual occurrence.

RETRACTION - users joined just after last stats export. They expect more frequent exports than actually occur.

When I go to the stats page it always says "Not logged in" even when I am logged into the forum. I cannot see where to login to the stats page ?

I think I had this problem before but could not find the post and I can't remember. Old timers is setting in......


EDIT: Sorry found the solution. I did not tick the "Remember Me " when I logged in to the forum........
