I have a very good chance of being able to push toward first. I just have ~35% of my computing power running, and I'm getting ~150 a day.....

I am still around on this project although only on one machine.

But its good that you are joining us all in keeping the Free-DC boat afloat in the sea of RC5-72!

Welcome matey.

Welcome!

Don't count me out just yet....I have a couple of dual AMD's down (~8.8GHz) and my 2 main rigs are part time only at the moment. At full load 24x7 I can hit just under 1K per day but I usually expect to be hitting around 250 per day.

If somebody would be kind enough to set-up a key proxy with web stats, it would add a whole lot more interest to RC5-72. I'd do it but am only on a 150/32k connection for the next month or 2.

I wanna see if we can convince Macnn to let us into their glorious stats system. I loved it when I was with TBR, and I want to have it again. :)

I could be doing 275-350 a day full tilt. I am doing around 150 a day now, with only 1 full time and 1 part time. I have a part time (Centrino), and two full times (total=1.3Ghz) that I can put on now, and I should have a Via 1.3 and a P4 2.0 and a P3 1.0 from my dads work after they upgrade their version of TeamConnect.

magicfan241, thinking about a high team ranking......

I may hop in and help some after I finish the load of exponents I have on my machines from Gimps.

Just added another 1,000,000 keys/s onto my user account.

I have also added a P75 laptop to OGR, bacause that was what work units were on there.

I'll see about putting it on RC5, if I can find a floppy to transfer over the work units.

Still have about 3,000,000-4,000,000 keys/s I can add, possibly more once I figure out how much this VIA Samuel2 processor can do, or if it will even handle it without overheating

magicfan241, here is distributed.net's benchmark database link.

http://n0cgi.distributed.net/speed/ (http://n0cgi.distributed.net/speed)

It's not listed but it will give you an idea.

The P75 is listed near the bottom with a rate of 75,000 k/s.

I'll think I put it on there anyway :)

Is it usual that the server is down for a couple of hours a day?

I noticed a downtime yesterday from about 19:00 to 22:30 GMT and from 23:00 to 0:00 GMT. Today it was down from 17:00 GMT up to now...

What's going on here? :Pokes:

It's nocster.net who are the hosting company. They are having massive problems at the moment :swear: I'm going to move my server away from them in the next few days. I'll let you know when the new one is online, probably hosted at servermatrix.

It's been pretty good for a while, though suffering from packetloss, but this weekend and today has been hopeless.

Until then I'll point to an official keyserver...

Thanks for the info!

Well I already have a new machine at servermatrix :)

Configuring it tonight. So I'll probably at least start up a proxy on it and then gets the stats pages running. I'll post it once it's ready.

The old one is available again for now though...

Ok, I've got the new server configured, so I've gone ahead and moved the DNS. Once it starts propagating, I'll get the proxy moved over and keep all the log files intact. This will probably be sometime tomorrow morning. New IP address will be 69.56.191.138.

It's not running yet, and the old one will continue to run for a while anyway. I'll probably point the old one to the new one (if that's possible).

Proxy is now running on the new ip address above. The old one is still there and uploads to the new one, so feel free to change your ini whenever convenient.

The stats page is generated on the new box and DNS should have propagated by now. It has for me

:elephant: :drums:

So that means the stats for the proxy 69.56.191.138 are on http://stats.open-dc.org/dnet/rc572/byemail.html?

And how often do they update?

Bok
03-02-2004, 02:20 PM
They sure are. Just make sure your DNS has updated to point it to 69.56.191.138. If not you'll be looking at an old page.

You should be able to tell by looking at the last update date on the bottom left.

I run them every 30mins at 1,31 mins past the hour.

I could change this if need be.
