With some help from two users, Dave and Alp, we have found a rare bug if the path to your TEMP directory is longer that 44 characters. This occurs in some cases on Windows.
In this case, the program will likely crash at or just before bulding the first structure (when it says found handle.. please wait 5 seconds). It may say something like 'this program has performed an illegal operation'.
This will be corrected in the next official release but for now you may either change your TEMP to C:\TEMP on windows (which is < 44 chars.) for the time being, or just wait for the next release.
