The next project is to factor 2^1137+1. Until quite recently its remaining cofactor was a C228. While some of the NFSNET admins where running ECM on it to weed out any small factors, a P47 factor was found (by me, ).
Luckily the new remaining factor of 182 digits is still composite. It is unlikely to have another factor of 50 digits or less. We'll know for sure when NFSNET completes the factorization!
I don't have the number of WU required handy but I believe it will be more difficult than our current project (10^223+1) but not a lot more difficult. Certainly nowhere near as difficult as 2^811-1 was.
