I just noticed that I passed the 1 million point mark overall. Hoping to move the team up the ladder quickly. Top 100 here we come!!!

Good Job! I'll only complain when you guys challenge my team (TCC).

Top 100 is fine with me :)

Congratulations!:|party|:
The first million is always the hardest:rotfl:
You others should definitely try this again - very stable
Wish I could help you here, but had to form a team with my coworker in the college (and change my name)
The things you have to do for an extra couple GHz (OK, couple hundred)

Thanks guys!!!

If anyone wants to crunch along with me, it's always more fun when there are others crunching along besides you.

On a sidenote, does anyone know if there are ways to tweak UD for maximum point output?

If I can find a way to run more than one instance per PC then I might.

Haven't had time to work on running more than one
It does run fine with D2OL or TSC running at the same time on a HT box (about 1/4 to 1/3 less output for those). Not good with DF.
I'd be anxious to find an easy way to run two per box so I can make a run at #1 daily production:D

Installed it on 2 of my windows boxes XP 1800 and a Celly 2.4. I don't mind helping a bit on this, I'm tired of us being ranked 800+ in this project.

If you want to run up to 2 instances of UD go to this site and a program has been written to do it.

Quick question....

When I goto: http://www.grid.org/services/teams/team_members.htm?id=A6D25771-CE28-4AA4-AA06-44C554DCD4B0 it indicates that I have only returned 1 result. But if I click on my name and goto the drill down stats for me individualy it says I have returned 6. Why does it only show me having one in the team stats?

Magnavox,

Stats on the UD site are not real-time. They update once a day. I'm in CA and usually the update starts around 8pm and finishes around midnight. Also, if you returned results before you put yourself on the Free-DC team, stats do not carry forward with you to your new team.

Hope this helps,

James

Did you crunch for another team or without a team for a couple of days? Stats don't transfer here

edit: James types faster than I do:D

Wish they did transfer, I've got a couple million points out there without a team

Just installed the program. Seems to work OK on a HT box and a multi:D
I'll let you know if it returns good results to UD.

ronbo,

I've got it installed on 2 machines. 1 3.0ghz PIV-C with ht enabled. I also have it on a duel xeon. Works well on both.

Fantastic! :elephant:
Just hit 110K per day (been 3 or 4 place/day all weekend) without this.
Going for the top spot/day production :D

That's a lot of production ronbo!! :bonk:

How many machines does it take to reach that level of production? I'm figuring around 150?

Officially 173 active, but probably 140-150 range is about right:D
Some HT boxen split with D2OL/TSC though

Sounded cool at the time and I had yet to discover FDC, so I suppose FDC isn't my first DC team after all  No worries I only produced for the for about 3 days :smoking:......err 0:002:14:04:27 to be exact.
