I figure I should give you people a copy too:

"
As many people have guessed, we are nearing the end of the Phase II for the Cancer Project. No one knew, Until April 22nd, anything about what would be happening in the future. We have an answer. Here is a pictograph of what will be happening over the next few years, and what we have done in the past:

As you can tell, it says there will be lab tests by the end of 2004. I think this is great news, and is showing that we are really moving toward the goal. I, for one, would have been willing ot do 2000 Phases to cure Cancer, but I'm happy that the DC part of the Cancer Project only requires 2 parts.

Here is a LINK (http://www.chem.ox.ac.uk/cancer/news.html) to the recent news, including the agreement on April 22 between Purely Proteins, Inhibox (recently spun-off from Oxford's Chemistry dept.) and Oxford's Screensaver Lifesaver Program (which gives the data for the Grid.org clients to run). The December 12, 2003 article also talks about some of the problems they have been having with finding the best leads for the smallpox, cancer, and the huge problem they had with the Anthrax project.

We are one step closer to the goal! Let's get moving the rest of the way!

Good news for the project as a whole, and you can ignore any cheerleader comments directd at TCC.
