I'm seeing a large swing to total throughput on the site.

This can happen from time to time, but I would like to know if people are seeing any strange behaviour on their clients... just to be sure.

I haven't yet... and I'm thankful.

Strangely, my clients are very slow right now. When they start, they are at ~ 7 MegaMD5, but they slow down to ~4 MegaMD5 over some others, although the whole system is left as is...

I've got a client here on a P4 2.2 Laptop which is reporting

Min/Ave/Max Rate: 0.20/7.36/734.84 MegaMD5/sec

:scared:

JL, do those swings happen to correspond to Mondays or Fridays more than any other time? A lot of people might be doing "dumps" at the beginning or end of the weeks.

The one machine that I have on it just cranks along. :) I haven't noticed any big variation.

Do you mean that the rate seems to be dropping slightly? Yeah, looks like that's real. :(

Maybe you could poke Kirk Pearson (http://www.aspenleaf.com/distributed/index.html) into giving you a little more publicity. :D

Kirk Pearson does not respond well to poking :)

The spikes do seem to be every Monday. So I think it's just someone submitting batches.

/me tries anyways ... :Pokes:
