so with that production, they must run UD on every server/PC in the company

there are many individual accounts, so they must have a company policy to run UD on every box and each person gets the boxes they admin or something for their own accounts

interesting

Would assume there are a lot of users there also:

Use this interface to automatically credit gigs to your account.
For every 15 days of CPU time reported by United Devices (UD),
you get a 1 gig credit.

ah, so they bribe people to run UD on their team

that makes sense

too bad we have nothing to bribe people with

There's always IB's fridge. :fridge:

But then, I guess since we let just about anyone in, anyway... :p

However, the #1 team, Team 2ch is just a huge forum. I can't read japanese (or chinese), so I can't say that it is all just a huge bribe to make those huge teams.

36,000 or so members on Team 2ch are not bribed. They have held gauntlets to push themselves to keep ahead of Easynews. They have increased their power by 500,000 points a week in a huge push to stay ahead of Easynews, showing the whole Grid.org team that they can get large amounts of power quickly.

Grid.org "complained" that the servers went to about 35% usage (all 17 or 18 servers)
