does it require X windows?
does it require a specific browser?
can it run on a text console only, lynx browser only box?

i installed it on such a box, i ran ./md5crk and told it no proxy (hit enter)

it went into its "few minutes" start up thing, then it says "don't forget to run md5_user_send.html to get credit" like on windows

i did "lynx md5_user_send.html" and entered my user/password combo and hit enter a couple times. it looked like it worked?

i checked my stats and it has 6 new active start points (i had 16 before setting up this boxen i think)

so i guess it worked

Only problem on a box without X is uploading the start points but you can copy the
md5_user.xml to another machine to do that.
