Anyone got any experience with these ?

I've got one built up and it powers on, mobo lights are fine, fans are all running and I get absolutely nothing, no error codes, no video, not a thing.

I've switched memory out and also tried one other 400W power supply which failed to run it for more than a few seconds.

I guess I should remove the proc and check for the HS sitting correctly next, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone had ran into a bad mobo in this model?

If you take the memory out, does it beep?
If you take out the video card, does it beep?
If so, mobo good...
Sounds like a dead CPU

Try to hold down the INSERT key, until you hear a beep, then switch to the DEL or F2 key, depending on BIOS needs...

Find where you can restore factory 'performance' option, if one.
I suppose you did the BIOS zap reset jumper thing, no PS connected, for 20 seconds after the lights go out on the mobo... :bang:

dunno for sure but perhaps its your bios version?
could be that a old p4p800 bios is not supporting the 2,8e with 1024kb cache...

It's fixed...

was the power supply. They don't like Antec's for some reason ??

Now I've got a dead XP2800 trying to troubleshoot :bang:
