I haven't got much horsepower but if I dedicate my boxen to a single project I should be able to produce something reasonable.

Oh wait a second.. I'm not even on the Free-DC RC5 team :D

mr_mann

FoBoT
04-19-2002, 11:16 AM
there are only a few of us doing RC5

what kind of numbers does your team/sub-team do daily?

if its more than 50,000 then the gauntlet would be pointless, we would never be able to compete

will most of our resources , guru and i can only combine for ~30,000 or maybe 40,000 a day and there are only a couple of other dudes active :/

AFAIK thats a known 'bug'. I don't think any of the Athlon XP processors are detected as what they should be. My XP 1700 outperforms most on www.distributed.net/speed so while some features of the CPU may not be taken advantage of, they still perform well. Hopefully there will be some kind of optimized core or something in the future :)

Well I just got my power bill ($225) today and I'm being forced to turn most of my home sustems off. This will reduce my output some but I seem to have lost about 2000 blocks a day for the last two days.

IB, what are you doing with my blocks? :spank:

Guru, I'm sorry to hear this. Yet another one bites the dust because of electricity costs :( :(
The list grows ... Colin, IB, Joker, Fragile, Guru... I gave my family most of my farm, with the provision that they had to run the client(s) of my choice (7 of them) :D

I didn't do anything with anyone's blocks :haddock:
I assume it's on their end with their terrible LAG in stats reporting. BUT, just in case, you, or anyone else can have a look at the logs here.
http://www.dbestern.com/pproxy4-25.zip
Let me know if you find anything wrong. I didn't see anything.
I noticed mine doesn't match either.
Makes me wonder if those that upload directly are getting screwed and don't know it, or if pproxy application can't do math, or if it's their end. Might be that mr_mann is up to no good

hawaii, new york, new hamster, maine, vermont, rhode island and alaska are all greater than eleven cents per KWh :swear:

i live in missouri, its 7.06 cents here :)
