Okay...I have been reading and reading and I can't see it anywhere. Here's the deal...

I converted an old machine to Mandrake Linux 8.1 and installed the client. I'm running it in a terminal, but I can't see how to flush and fetch? What did I do wrong? :) Do I have to wait for it to run through all of the work units and let it fetch itself? Or is running it in a terminal the wrong way to go about it?

Any help appreciated for the Linux newbie ;)

What about setting up a cronjob that invokes "dnetc -update" every other hour or so.

You can also set up the client to flush automatically everytime a WU is finished or once the in-buffer is empty.

Never done a cronjob but I will look at that, but after a long night of setting this up...the scheduleing part of it occured to me as I was trying to go to sleep ;)

I'll likely go that way.

Thanks for the help
