SP2 RC versions have been available to the public for a while. I suggest that those who haven't looked into SP2 definatly give it a look. This has got to be the best service pack they have ever released.

it appear at http://windowsupdate.com only today or few days ago as I checkd WU site few times a week. I like v5. It updates itself (third or fourth time) and found SP2 P2 today...

well tomorrow shows. I want to grab full network install....

Any word on the official release date yet, since I am too scared to run beta Windows stuff on me box!

If you have Windows on your machine, you've been running Beta code all along ;)

I have been running SP2 RC2 for a long time, works great, if you turn off the stupid firewall.

I am also running XP64 beta :-)

I've got SP2 RC2 running on all my workstations and laptop. It works fine! It also installed itself overtop of RC1 just fine. The only reason not to try it out now would be the large size. All of Windows was recompiled in this build, which makes the download rather large. But not a big deal if you have a broadband connection!
