It would be interesting to know if the competition is open between Mandrake and other distros -- isn't Mandrake based in France? :D

Mandrake is French. The French government likes to support French businesses (can't blame them there).

I wouldn't personally use Mandrake for a server, but it has to be more secure and managable than NT. The most nightmarish year of my life was spent administering two evil NT servers.
