my sister has a SFF MSI pc/motherboard that i built for her a couple years back. i was cleaning it and noticed that the single clip HSF had broken off the center tab on one side. so now i need a new low profile HSF with a clip that can utilize that last remaining tab, the larger one that is offset/offcenter.

i am posting this in case someone can give me a make/model of a low profile 3 prong HSF that i can use

thank you

thanks for the links, but as with all other sites i have looked, they have no low profile hsf's that attach with all 3 tabs, they only have a single hook for the center tab, 1 of which is broken off on this motherboard

Put a thin fan on this sink

or
I would get the 3 holed clip and use it on this one for real thin...

Do I have to go down into my garage and find an old 3 clip fastener laying under something way in the back where it got kicked the last time it got in my way? :rotfl:

I've been using the fairly standard HS/Fan's by Spire from my local TigerDirect shop. They are 3-pronged, quiet and keep the CPU's pretty cool so far.
