You've got it all wrong, FoBoT. He means Internet Protocols.
or Interferon Particles or Immoral Postcards or Immigrant Participants
maybe Intelligent Puppies... jeez, it boggles the mind!
umm, OK mr_mann, which IP's you talking about?

FoBoT

yeah, which ones?

why not use NAT, then you can make all the IP's you want

Oh. Umm. NAT routers are pretty nifty things. Cheap, too, these days. :) Is there anything the community can help with? There's a ton or two of network expertise within these virtual walls. Just ask! Especially if it means getting two freakin' hundred boxen on-line for Free-DC.

Ahhhhhh! Soooooo!
Understanding occurs (though infrequently). :p
Well, good luck. Get as many of 'em as you can, mr_mann!

I still don't get why, (as if it's necessary for me to get it :D) in a given bldg, all computers aren't going through a router using NAT and DHCP? Headless BSD boxes work great for this.

Seems it would allow them to release a few IP's and increase their computer count a hundred-fold (assuming budget exists of course).
