D2OL FreeDC_AMD_Team is Launched

FreeDC_AMD_Team is a sub team working on D2OL.
Currently the team has these members em99010pepe, Nickth and Bok.

Our aim is to get Free DC high up in the stats and to get that gap to Ars cut down.

Firstly we ask is if you wish to join the team then you must have and AMD processors but this not a 100% rule.

So how do you join this sub team?
Well once you have downloaded D2OL it asks for an email. The email to use to join the team is FreeDC_AMD_Team@hotmail.com. Once done this you contact us and we will add the node to the team.

If you have already installed D2OL you can:

1º - Delete your current node.prp file from RES folder. Restart the client. You will be ask to register your node. Just use this email FreeDC_AMD_Team@hotmail.com.
2º - Or overwrite your node.prp file with the one from the attachment. Node ID is 110996.


So what happens if you leave the team?
The units that you have crunched will stay with Free DC and FreeDC_AMD_Team.

If you only have a computer and you hate crunching alone just join US. We need YOU.

So far I have D2OL running in one AMD 1100MHz and in one AMD 64 3200+. This weekend I will put another AMD processor, an AMD 2200+. This one runs in offline mode so I need more time to setup D2OL.

About killing nodes I can't because and I quote:

"You cannot delete a node that already has statistics"

just browse to the SengentD2OL/D2OL/res folder and copy the node.prp file from one instance to the rest.

Last post was to tease the members.

Well, looks like D2OL is a dead "project" so I think it's time to close this thread.
As said in the first post all points will stay in D2OL Free-DC Team so from now on Bok is in charge of this sub-team. I was mad about that D2OL discussion and didn't want to make any mistake or a stupid action, like moving the points to another team, so I decided to give the command of D2OL FreeDC_AMD_Team to Bok. I told him to change the password and I will give him access to the email address.


I'll be back with another sub-team not in D2OL but in SOB.;)
