The sense of acheivement corused through my body, like a life-giving exlixur soothing my pains. I remember the feeling of rising above the challenge, the sweet taste of sucess. Scanning through the reels of the past memories, some blurred with the age or dulled by abandoment, others vivid, lucid as though only just lived. As I go back holding the film of my life to the light of the past. I come to my earliest sucess.
At the age of five, in a small but homely fibro house I lived with my younger sister and two young parents. On returning from kindy the first week, I told my parents, "We have to learn how to tie our shoe laces". I rememberthe following days my mother tenderly leading me step by step through the simple yet elegant process.
