I am still contributing a very small amount at the moment.

As I mentioned in a previous thread, after three years I need a break from seti.

Will no doubt move back at some point :)

The seti team still is producing a lot more than when it was first started.

Our rise to the top 200 was due to donations from peeps no longer producing for seti. It is just unfortunate that we can not produce enough units to maintain our position :(.

I thinks it is best described as being a very small fish in a ver big pond.

SETI is one of the biggest DC project there is going around and the many ppl who do DC Crunching make their entry into this community via SETI - then move on to other projects that what for ever reason they see more beneficial to mankind

i for one have stopped crunching SETI and only return ever so often when i want to test run the cluster - so my participation will be limited but when i participate the results are in the 150-200 units per day region

i think if you check your team stats it received a huge 26K boost last night  parked results they may be but hard earned results they sure were :D

Thanks for joining the team, and the donation..
I am still crunching but at present have had to cut down on my personal farm...

Due to lack of fundage.

maybe so but ever effort counts - and this is what matters - i was no different from a lot of crunchers started with one system for fun then caught the bug and they still have not found a cure :D :D or should it be

If SETI were a little bit more upload/download friendly I would
continue to crunch with a passion. Unfortunately It is not!

1000 units seems like a good place to slow down.

I will continue to contribute to this great team, but only while
not playing NHL 2002 or Squad Battles Vietnam. Then there's
the classes and the web page to consider. Anybody like snakes?

If you like snakes, and have $1300 to spend on a baby albino
rosy boa look for rosyboa.net soon.

Not my snakes... just my site.

My snakes go for $60. Lichanura Trivergata Roseofusca.
i.e. coastal rosy boas(northern California). Cool snakes!

Of course I don't have any for sale. I had to seperate my
male and female because all my male wanted to do was to
"F" my female! She was always knocked up, wouldn't eat and
was a total bitch! Now she's eating, and is a sweetheart! My
male, on the other hand, was a pussycat, now he comes out
swinging whenever I get close. What to do?

I can download a 5 to 500 meg file at an average of 745k.

Seti units download at an average of 24k. If and when they
do in fact download.

Rosyboa.. have you tried to use one of the Proxies ?

theres a stick thread at the top, that lists them..
I recommend Dbestern which is Ironbits.

It should help you with your upload/download problems.

Thanks Alpha_7!

I've been using the SetiQ at dbestern for a couple of days.

It's great!

And thanks Ironbits...

No worries Rosy,

Glad I could be of assistance :)

Using a Q is way more effective :)
