Help me Overclock plz!

Heya guys, I want to overclock my computer. Here's the rundown on my system:

ASUS A7N8X Motherboard
AMD Sempron 2800+ CPU
Kingston 512MB DDR PC2700 ValuRAM
Seagate 160GB 7200RPM HDD


I think you only need the first 3. Oh, my OS is Win XP Pro w/ SP2 installed.


Help me get this bad boy OCed plz. I need to do something to fend off Redukt.

AMD Sempron 2800+ overclock

play w/multiplier and memory timings and bus speed in bios. watch your temp. use a temp monitor, at least periodically. don't expect a big gain in points

Not looking for a big gain...but I haven't OCed an AMD chip before, just Intel. I hear AMDs can take a little more. XP 2600s can be OCed to 3200+ w/o watercooling. I bet I could get this Sempron to register at 3300-3400.

I'll post results when I find out.

Oh yeah, I couldn't remember OCeXtreme. I've used them for Intel chips b4.
