With currently fewer users on the new Server, it is clearer who is flexing their crunching muscle (so to speak). Just out of interest, I wonder what people's top cruncher and total farm size is (for DHEP)? Esp. 'rshepard'- you must have quite a flock! :D

[Mine~ Top:P4c2.8@3.2, Total:~6 giving ~7GHz]

All together, I'm running about 13 GHz, spread out over 4 duallies and a couple of single processor boxes, so that makes 10 islands. Best box is a 3.2 GHz , but I only have the one. All run 24/7, so it does tend to add up after a while ;)

It seems my sub-GHz machines (Quails01>03) are always in the top 20 recently... surely people have some spare horsepower for DHEP? Come on- Stomp me! :smoking:

Nice stompage! :p
... But seems we're still rather low on crunchers at the moment...

If someone will tell me how to run this through an HTTP proxy, I'll put a couple crunchers on it.

At work we have an HTTP proxy... for me it works fine 'out-of-the-box'...
Good luck,
Andrew.

i don't run through one myself but in the FAQ's it says to..........

If you have a SOCKS proxy
You can connect through a SOCKS4 or SOCKS5 proxy:

If you're using a script to launch your island edit the middle line so it looks something like: java -DsocksProxyHost=YOUR.SOCKS.PROXY -DsocksProxyPort=YOURSOCKSPORT -Djava.security.policy=java.policy -jar ITClient.jar 66.51.209.121 . You only have to specify the port if its not the default 1080.

If your island is installed as an NT service edit wrapper.conf and add the following lines anywhere:
wrapper.java.additional.2=-DsocksProxyHost=YOUR.SOCKS.PROXY
wrapper.java.additional.3=-DsocksProxyPort=YOURSOCKSPORT

For this to work you may need to relax your java.policy file requirements by changing the two lines containing 127.184.166.27 to * like this:
permission java.net.SocketPermission "*:1024-65535", "connect,resolve";
permission java.net.SocketPermission "*:80", "connect";

i found this on this page

best of luck :cheers:
