Okay, there are a BUNCH of new BOINC projects coming out. If you look here, (http://distributedcomputing.info/ap-lsciences.html#boleroplus) (go to the bottom of the page) you will find two very interesting projects. Unfortunately, they are in Japanese. Someone ATTEMPTED(!) to give instructions on how to sign up for them, but you just get caught in an infinite loop about 3 steps in.

Someone needs to kidnap :D a Japanese person and figure out what the heck is going on and how to sign up.:bang:

has anyone attempted to run this and if so did you receive any points for submitting work??

I've ran this for about 3 days now and done some work units but still have 0 points.

well for any who are a little interested with this project i've gained a little more info through an email i sent to them.


I have been running BOLERO for a few days now and have completed a few work units but I still do not have any points. Do the points take a while to compute or am I doing something wrong. It could be me since I had a rough translation of the site.

and there answer was....


We send the same work unit to several members in order to validate results. Points are granted after comparison of the results of the workunit.
So please wait until the member who have the same work unit as you have send the result to the server.

yea not very cool but I'm still gonna run it incase they ever translate the page to english and others come on, try and get a head start u know :D ;)
