I've run a work unit (between 12.30-12.45 approx today) and it jumped straight from
"Dimer: Start" to "Dimer : done" and then "Reporting Results". None of the ususal Image done, Hsize, etc. :confused:

Has this timed out, or is there some bad result?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but it's the first time I've noticed it.

There is a limit on the number of iterations a client is allowed to spend looking for a saddle point. If it doesn't find one after that time, it will just report the negative result. The other stuff that you usually see involves following steepest descent paths from a saddle, and finding frequencies at the saddle. If no saddle is found, none of this can be done.
