Hiding the command prompt?

Currently I am sieving for this project. The sieve utility uses a command prompt. What's the best way to "hide" this prompt so it doesn't accidently get closed. I'd actually like to find a way to get it to goto the taskbar but I doubt that's possible.

I just need a way to easily hide it and reopen it as I please.

Anyone?
