/me run helter-skelter all over the camp fire

Since we joined this project, we've always dominated the daily productions but now it seems like the peeps over at Ars has gotten enough members to nudge themselves to the top of the dailies with their frontpage pimp.

We should not let Ars the pleasure of taking the dailies in this project. I say we fight and fight we must before we lose anymore ground.

/me raise the Free-DC flag.

FREEDOM... oh wait.... Free-DC! :viking:

/me waits for non-gui linux client....

They had some frontpage pimpage, so got a lot of new members in the last two days. I expect to keep growing for them.

Is this new version compatible with Win Me? If so Lauren could install it on his 70 nodes.

It needs Java installed.

70Nodes well that'll be some hell of a bandwidth needed ;)

70nodes ~ 70kb/s ...

that's going to be err somewhere between 1G to 1.5GB transfered a day

FluffyChicken,

He could have unlimit bandwidth. I don't know.Just sent a PM to Lauren. Let's see what he has to say about Dimes.

With all due respect to Ars, I very much doubt they will keep up with their current output, impressive as it is.

Lots of new users yes, but I expect a substantial proportion of them to stop running it within a few days..

Just my opinion.

number one on the go.

Currently in testing mode, maybe deployment in a couple of days.

Hopefully should see a significant increase in output if all goes to plan.

ARS had 2 teams in dimes.
They merged which created the bump in the stats.

No need to panic.

sorry MF. i'm working 11-14 hrs per day and it looks like we'll be firing up on saturdays soon as well.

doesn't leave me a whole lot of time, especially when i'm usually keeping up on the buick boards ... and it aggravates me so not to be able to invest the necessary time when i'm in a debate. :swear:

if i could drop in and not reset the 'new posts' function it would help but mostly it's just the shortness of time thing.
