New in release 3.8 5/30/2002
1.Added a new settings file, setworkunit.txt this is used to turn ON or OFF the work unit
time calculations.
Place a ON or a OFF on the first line in all CAPS if you would like
KDFold to generate the work unit time. I added this option to handle
certian machine setups who seem to have a unusual date formatting
issues that for some reason I cannot detect properly.
This manifest itself usually in a series of access errors or date
format error during startup or after completion of a work unit.
If this happens just stop KDFold and set the Work Unit Time to OFF
and restart.
I am working on some more advanced validation routines
2.G@H in nonet mode start Date/Time stamp used to advance in the stats then stopped working.
Thanks to Spectre for noticing this. This has not been tested really well so any
feedback on whether this is now working properly or not would be very helpful.
3.Changed the max cycle timing from 30 secs to 60 secs by user request.
4.More internal code changes, tried to handle more of the I/O exceptions though they
have no affect on KDFold it is a pain to have to close the exception box.
5.Modfied the exception/test logging to report specific functions for debugging. All
areas of the program now write to the debug log. With 10 clients if you have logging
turned on it will write about 1.5 to 2 meg of data everyday. This is why I only recommend
using this function to solve problems. It is off by default and can be found in the
visual settings under master settings.
All KDFold Skinned versions have a rollup button on them in the title bar
they are different for each skin.
