View Full Version : Deleting old work when updating?

If you have some old work and a protein updated occurs, then (AFAIK) it doesn't delete the old worthless structures and you'll have to clean up yourself.

Wouldn't it be a good idea if the client deleted those old structures in the update procedure?

It is supposed to. Could be a bug. Ill double check and fix it if I can.

Great, I was gonna ask about that too. I was getting 47,000 structures/second on one machine with this new protein according to the benchmarking programs. ;)

Realized I still had wasted files from about 3 proteins ago. ;)

I got rid of them, but would be nice in the future if the update kills whatever proteins are still around (since they are no good).

I had not seen you had replied - usually I get an email if someone replies but maybe that doesn't quite work for this part of the forum? :confused:
