This is the first time the client has crashed for me.

I have the client running as a service on a Celeron300@450Mhz with Win2k. Yes it is overclocked, but it has been running stable for ~2 years and as I wrote above, the client has been running completely stable until now.

In the Task Manager, a foldtrajlite process was still "running", but wasn't doing anything.

Here is the complete error log:
ERROR: [000.000] ERROR: [000.000] {foldtrajlite.c, line 1133} Unable to check server status

Looks like you had a floating point exception. It is theoretically possible that it could happen extremely rarely. Ignore it for now and if it happens again, run some memory and/or CPU integrity tests.

Ok, thanks for the reply.

So far it has been running without problems since the crash.

I find it humorous that people are freaked when a program crashes on Windows. Windows will crash for no good reason at any time. Distributed Folding does put a strain on Windows memory management and when active is also likely to be the first program that notices a Windows subsystem failure. Use the Windows universal fix, just reboot and continue your life.

:D  :)
