Doesn't seem to work at all :(

It finishes the result in under a second with an error condition. I'll try one of other DX's and see if it's the same.

hmmm, perhaps it's just on one of them. Tried it on another running at 3Ghz and it is fine with 4 instances.

The first one was barely overclocked too :(

Works fine on all my dual HT Xeons. 4 instances, and 2 on the plain HT P4s.

Don't run two instances, just set your preferences on any of the project webpages to use max of x cpu's (I have 4 ) and then boinc will run more than one itself.

OK- bad terminology on my part.

One instance of Boinc Manager and Boinc.exe running. On a dual HT Xeon, it starts up four project processes.

You need to set your general preferences to use your max desired CPUs/box. SAve the preference change, and force an update from your client box.

SZTAKI presents some language issues - the setting you need is on the top section of your General Preferences (on the Your Account screen "Általános beáll_tások megtekintése/szerkesztése") , and is called "Többprocesszoros rendszereken, használjon maximum - 4 processzort "

I just use SETI-BOINC as a guide to which screen things are on.
