New clients

I have installed Ubuntu and was looking for the updated/beta Linux client Only way I was able to find it is to search the forum and a link which alien88 posted. The sclient.conf on it is the same as the older one and it does not seem to have the option to change how many blocks completes before transmitting. Any ideas??

Make sure "Transmit" is set to 1 then add the line "TransmitBlocks" followed with the value of how many blocks to complete before transmission. Below is segment of a config file from a live client that is set up to transmit intermediate results every 20 blocks.

# The transmission of intermediate blocks is recommended if you
# have a constant internet connection. Even if you cannot
# connect for the intermediate block reports every time,
# computation will still continue, although it will pause
# breifly to try every hour or so.
# 1 - Enable
# 0 - Disable
