    BIOS, 4 cores, software(XP and Fedora 11) 1 core

    Do you guys and gals have any clue what might be causing this problem?

    Btw, I'm texting this to you on my Ipod Touch, which I got in the mail Monday. (Not sure how to do a geeky turtleneck smiley, lol)

    Under Fedora,

    open a teminal and do

    'cat /proc/cpuinfo'

    without the quotes and paste the result

    Also do

    dmesg

    and paste the output from that
