Is there any reason MY would not pick a ATI GPU that windows sees?
Cam10.4 working windows see's it I see it but MY does not
I have tried it with all flavor from win32 ATI to Win32 see3 ati
I just can't the it to see the gpu

Good questions - also:
1. Make sure you have extended your Windows desktop onto that card.
2. Make sure you have a monitor (or dummy plug) plugged into the ATI card; windows doesn't like ATI cards without things plugged into them
3. If you have multiple GPUs in the box, make sure to turn on "Use all GPUs" in the cc_config file.
Yeah, tell us which ATI card, BOINC version, and OS, and we'll figure it out...
Man I tried it all I gave up going to try another MB
it was BOINC 6.10.18 for Windows
on a Gigabyte 5830
did it with version 0.23 32-bit: ATI, and SSE2 ATI
And Even tried version 0.23 64-bit: ATI
Windows See's the card and it all works
but BOINC can not see the gpu
