I use OS9 but I don't know beans about programming
Do we have anybody capable of simple programming tasks in MacOS 9 around here? I'm looking for someone who can write something with a simple user interface (Go Get Files Button) to connect to a remote FTP server, get some files, rename them according to a set naming convention, and store them locally. If we had OS X on the machine in question, I'd just write it in Perl or Python, but since it's OS 9...
So...we got anybody with some OS 9 skills around here?

Agent Smith was right!: "I hate this place. This zoo. This prison. This reality, whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell! If there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it."
Try the macnn dev center.
It can probably be done in applescript, not sure.

Ah, Scott, I was thinking of emailing you about this. Can you put me on to anyone over there who might be capable?
You looks like you are doing fine.
I've seen Camelot post intelligent stuff before, but I don't visit the dev forum.
