    Pointy,

Is that the phone you were talking about on IRC a month or so ago?

Looks good...how is battery life so far?

Agent Smith was right!: "I hate this place. This zoo. This prison. This reality, whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell! If there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it."

    YEP!

That's the phone I was talking about some time ago. I've been wanting one since it was available and yesterday I finally got myself one

I believe it's the only phone/pda combo available that's actually worth using.

Battery life seems to be okay, but not great. That is what I've heard too and what I would expect from a phone with such a large screen. Anyway, it's pretty seldom I'm not able to re-charge more or less everyday so it's not a big problem to me.

Of course, I've only spend limited time with it until now, but the calendar (which is what I really needed) is pretty good IMHO.

The only question that remains is: When will someone make a DC client for it?

Hey Pointy - nice looking phone!
Unfortunately, a DF client for the phone probably wouldn't manage to finish generation 0 before we changed to the next protein.

Is anyone writing any DC clients in java that you know of? You might be able to run something on it....

Looks good PW. Is this the phone you were telling me about yesterday that you accidentally bought?

Actually, I was forced to buy it as I think I would have killed myself if I didn't

Hey Dyy - now that you have him hooked....

Tell him that he can't get stats by phone unless he switches over to doing DF for FreeDC.....

Of course, then he'd be hanging around here even more...

I don't think I'll be using it much though - GPRS is still way to expensive here
And they wonder why so few people are using it

Ps. Moogie knows exactly what is needed for me to join Free-DC
