Can't install WinXP on my Dualie

It won't recognise the RAID stripes I have on the Promise® PDC20267. It just says Windows cannot find a hard disk to install to.

    What am I doing wrong?

    It's a GA-7DPXDW

    It's doing my head in

You need the Raid drivers for your controller on a floppy.
Re-boot the computers and when XP says to "Press F6" to load additional drivers, Press F6 and it will look to the floppy, suck the drivers in, and away you go.

    Been there and done that

Still says there are no hard disks.

The drivers i downloaded and popped on a floppy it detects them but no go.

I went in on the RAID CTRL+F and defined a stripe then I have booted from CD pressed F6

Pressed S used the drivers but then it says no hard disk to install on.

Do the jumpers on the drives need to be different or tye same they are on diffenrent channels.

Can some one who is running a stripe set go for a super noob setup for me.

    I can't think why it isn't running.

    Cheers PCZ

It WAS a driver issue I went to the Promise site and downloaded the latest ones from there as i had the latest BIOS already.

They are working fine, well it has actually found the array and it is formatting.

    Cheers again.
