This is off-topic to the above, but:

Am I being idiotic, or is there no changelog, or list of changes somewhere? I keep grabbing the latest client, but have no clue what to expect from it!

I have not put one together yet... I have notes here and there, but I'll get one ready for the next client. The accountment list lists the changes from 1.0.4-->1.0.5-->1.0.6.

I'm getting the same error on my Win98SE machine!

    What's going on?
    Is it the programming?

I have downloaded the zip file, the MSI and the Installer.
The zip file gives me the error mentioned above while the other two give
    a script error or something?

Is this going to get fixed?

    watch that 'iron' !

    There is no win93

Does the work this version completes, still count in the stats?
    erm........... is it faster?

I did the .msi installer above, saw that it put it in
    C:\Program Files\MD5CRK\md5crk
    Stopped that client from running.

Copied the following files, md5crk.exe and msi.dll to the location where I wanted it installed.
Overwrote the current md5crk.exe (have backup) and ran it from there.
It took right off working on what I had already done

and also can a md5crk icon tooltip n a tray say something more useful then "md5crk 5"? btw it's version 1.0.6, why 5?

    something like percentage of completion....

I aggree, an icon tooltip would be very nice.

And maybe in newer versions, we should be able to set the size of work units, so the client can send work to server, automatically, after a user-defined number of DPs is found, and not only 200 DPs.

I wanted to keep the client GUI as simple as possible (to keep people from messing with it).

You can edit the md5_user.xml file and increase the <minWorkUnitSize>200</minWorkUnitSize> to what ever you want. Or use the command-line option "-dps" explained in http://www.md5crk.com/?sec=client_readme

I'll look into the tool-tip for the next release which will not be for some time.
