    Error Log

    Got alot of these on Saturday..but haven't gotten any today (Sunday). Anyone esle got this?

    I'll have to check my other boxes to see what they say...

    First thing that comes to my mind is, are you sure your Internet connection was up around 6 PM yesterday?

    But no, I didn't get anything like that in my logs for yesterday.

    LOL...I guess I should have clarified that a little bit.

    We had no interruption of service at that time (two of the machines were being used (internet) at that time, and there were no problems elsewhere.

    That's why I didn't understand the error message.

    OK... hmm... was your DNS server available? (Do you even have a DNS server, or do you use your ISP's?)

    gethostbyname is a function to resolve a hostname using DNS...

    That's what I was thinking. Maybe a DNS hiccup. In the system she's in, most likely the ISP's.
