hrmm... so, I copied the native.val out of the commandline version, and dumped it in the folder...
seems to work fine, maybe a problem with the binary?
This was freshly downloaded and installed.

1st time ever using the windows client (go FreeBSD)
I have 2 laptops that the screensaver is failing on.

I am connected to the net fine... no firewall or anything. This error is from an IBM T23 running windows 2000.

Ran into exactly the same problem. I copied native.val from the text client as well and the screen saver started working.
