2.6GHz added
Here's my challenge to other F@Hers.
Over the past 7 weeks, we've been averaging about 225k points. However, in the past weeks, our numbers have been dropping dramatically with the loss of maefly. My challenge is pretty simple. We need to increase our production by 5k/week. My 3.0P4 HT here has done approximately a point every 11 minutes. So that means that we need 7+ of these machines. Anything you have will help, but I'm calling you out.
Can anyone help out with 21GHz?
Sorry to say I can't help out. And I may very well loose some boxen, even.
I recently added 4 2.8 Ghz P4's (no HT)
unforutnatly one was stolen and the others were locked up for a bit, I moved them into my office and just started them up again to keep crunching until I can get all of the lockdown cables going. They just got up to speed, when the all happened.
I did not select the option for large units as these computers. is there any difference in "point production" if I do allow units over 5 mb?

The point value is doubled, but the processing time is nearly doubled, IIRC. All in all, it's a better deal on really fast machines.
No problemo, I know 70 Ghz of pentium power that's just waiting for the AC to switch on! Rain rain go away...
And if anyone has any idea on how to get the macs running F@H at the login window, theres another 10 GHz twiddling it's thumbs atm.
I just learned that a good friend of mine has been running folding@home for another team. Since I'm a free-dc'r for life and I just can't sit and let him have a higher score them me, I'm firing my fleet back up with folding@home.
I've been busy moving into my new house so my home network is only partially up(14Ghz). But I should be back up to 20Ghz or more in the next month. But I do have a lot of P4's here at work that need a good home.
Now if I can only remember what I did with my account.

2 dual AMD`s @ 2.2Ghz and 2.4Ghz added today under my username.
Guess that`s about 9.2Ghz running 24/7 providing the raid 5 cards stop dumping drives.
Like an ol` 8086, slow but serviceable.
One advantage of old age...nobody can tell you how much cake you can eat

guru, I'll give you a head start on this project.Originally posted by guru
I just added 50+ systems to FAH, you're going to need some help in FAH shortly.

You'd better be ready when I come for you.

Eek, my eyes were bigger than my stomach, sorry my productions is flagging of late due to heat/expense issues. Will try to do my best to get some good crunching back soon!Originally posted by Tamari

Oh, and thanks -XP- for looking that up, I think this might be possible.
Just a little update, I am running at 100% at the moment, and I'm expecting another 60 GHz of new blood to arrive within 3 weeks! Shooting to fold out 300,000 points in June if all goes to plan!
