I think it's much more important to run and test this project than to support Fozzie that seemed to have a bad box, look here: http://www.volny.cz/dsl_353972280/cheaters/

Bye Bye and thanks for the fish !!
Yup, alpha projects always have their share of ups and downs and problems, we all agree on that. Fozzie does not cheat.
You are Free to DC anywhere you like, however, we hope you don't make such a hasty decision based on an alpha projects problems.

No need to blow this up

out of proportion. I get right anoyed when I have spent considerable time and money on a project and it goes wrong.

Milkyway admins dealt with it very poorly, so I won't run the project again.

Enigma provided a optimised client which caused 24 hours for my quad and dual to be useless. So that project isn't going to be run again.

We are all free to do as we wish and bitch about things that we don't feel is right. Hey I'm first to bitch about most things.

Anyways whatever anyone decides to do is up to them. For me I am steering well clear of alpha projects run by people with no idea about communication or fair play.
Alas poor Borg, I knew it Horatio

Well I have started to detach from M.Y. But you know me it does take a bit of time for me to start Or stop a project
I think I still have a lost rouge client some where that is still working M.Y.

    I'm going to do

a bunch of Rosetta wus and think about what to go for next.

Maybe NQueens will be back by then, who knows.

Even pushed through some RCS72 wus whilst I was thinking about Rosetta.

With all due respect(and there's a lot due around here) alpha projects are essentially growing pains stages. As long as they have the label of alpha, the only thing you should trust them to do is work on bugs. They don't know if their points system is going to work, they don't know if their stuff is going to crash, and most importantly, they don't know what they don't know. That last one is especially important. If you knew how you were going to screw up, you probably wouldn't have screwed up in the first place.

Free-DC is a great team with a great Forum. Alpha projects are not for competing, they're for figuring out how to get crap to work properly. When you do an alpha project, you're not a DCer. you're a bug tester.

The point is not that it is an Alpha project. It is the fact that one of our own has had his name erroneously dragged through the mud.

I myself would react the same if this was a mainstream project that had been running for years.

Our team mate has had his name plastered up on the Milkyway site as a cheater. His requests for this slander to be removed fell on deaf ears. Eventhough this deformation being posted was against milkyway forum rules.

I think that we understand that an Alpha might have a server up and down like a tarts knickers, and that when alpha testing is finished, the points may not carry over to the running project.

    We are a little miffed

I understand that this project is young and I dealt with all the errors I received.
But I do have a problem with the Admins in the way they chose to handle this problem.
Thats why I pulled my support from the project

We are a team we must support each other
