use the double quotes to enclose the book title-- I got a number of relevant hits
Well, I work with a few people that organize our churchs yard sale every summer, and they were going to throw out a few books, which are a follows:
"Scouting for Boys" book, 1941 (perfect condition)
"Boy Scout Tests, and how to pass them", 1925 (ok condition)
"News-Chronicle" Song book, undated, around the same time period
I can't find anything on any of these books, but they all are british.
Does anyone know where to look (no don;t say google, tried that)
Thanks you,

Agent Smith was right!: "I hate this place. This zoo. This prison. This reality, whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell! If there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it."
"Scouting for Boys" was written by Lord Baden-Powell, and published in 1908. He was the founder of the "boy scouts" and that was his first book, published ayear after he founded the movement.
The book you mention is probably a reprint of this book.
For further details you could check out amazon (perhaps amazon.co.uk).

I find abe.com an excellent source of both used books, and information on old books. If they don't find the item in their database (they are kind of a front end for a bunch of independant booksellers), they'll offer to connect you to OCLC (which usually costs serious money) to search for the item's catalog record.
If you are looking to see what they are worth (and don't get your hopes up), you'll need to take them around to a few used book sellers, preferably those who handle old Boy Scout stuff. Valuing books is difficult (abe.com has a nice short explaination of book condition terms), and you really need to get a pro to do it.
If it was something else you were looking for, let me know. I'm a librarian when I'm not crunching (well, even when I am).
