    Megaflush

                    PY 222

    1,129,289 keys last week, and a tremendous number of clicks and scrolls. How long did you buffer that?

    oh no, he overtook me again!

    That's a mega dump!

    Teamrank 13 for keys and clicks, teamrank 22 for scrolls...

    Rank 332 for PY 222 (keys), moving up some hundred ranks, if not about thousand! Not bad man!

    MK, do your TKC stats still exist? I really liked the 'score' stat. How was that calculated?

    Thank you thank you.

    I've been keeping that for like the longest time. The last mega flush I had was on March but my home box hasn't gotten a flush for like half a year.

    Wow... this shows that I don't really type that much at home as compared to at work!

    Yes they exist... again... since a few days...
    Go there: http://www.the-mk.at/tkc/

    Wirthi gave me a tipp how to calculate them:
    correction-factors:
    kClicks = sum(keys) / sum(clicks)
    kScrolls = sum(keys) / sum(scrolls)

    score(user1) = keys(user1) + clicks(user1) * kClicks + scrolls(user1) * kScrolls

    I hope that's understandable

    Not sure I understand the logic behind that calculation.

    Are your dnet stats no longer in existence?

    Neither do I. But I like it since I am No. 2 in the team.

    So, does it basically boil down to the best all rounder in every category?

    Ok, it wasn't understandable

    It's better to ask Wirthi, because he "designed" that logic, I don't fully understand it, but it seems to be working

    For those who want my d.net-stats: If there are enough who want it, I could set them back up... it's just a mather of time...

    So, does it basically boil down to the best all rounder in every category?
    Yes it does.

    Well, the basic idea behind the "score-formula" was to make me No. 1 in that stats

    No, the idea was the following: compute something that you can compare between all three sub-projects of TKC (Keys, Clicks, Scolls). Make a sum of those values for each user, and rank the users by that sum.

    To do that, take the "keys" as fix value (so we regard all other values relative to the number of keys). Therefore, the adapted number of clicks a user had is:

    adapted_klicks = klicks_of_user * total_keys / total_klicks
    adapted_scolls = scrolls_of_user * total_keys / total_scrolls.

    total_* means "sum of the * of all users of our team".

    The score of each user is the sum of this keys + adapted_clicks + adapted_scolls.

    I hope that formula is good to represent what I intended, else post your suggestions here and the-mk will be glad to implement them, I'm sure.
