Thread: New additions

  1. #81
Well the TKC site is up but there have been no updates since it went down way earlier in the year for TKC 2.0 (when the hard drive failed). The forums are closed and you cannot e-mail the webmaster because it comes back as undelivereable. Kinda like an empty shell now. :-/

    New Additions - Pi Segment

A new Project has surfaced and is gaining acceptance in good numbers in only a short time called: Pi Segment

    URL Found here: http://pisegment.vicp.net/index.aspx

The founder of the AMD users team (NeoGen) was wondering if you could add this project to your stats and DCR.

***Note from NeoGen*** Please remind Bok again to add us on DCR, on Proteins@Home. For some reason the only team with points there on the DCR is team Anandtech.

    Thanks again

I looked at it earlier in the week, the source HTML to parse is awful, very non standard... but I'll get a driver written for it probably on monday.

I'll take a look at Proteins right now in the DCR..

Actually I don't think anyone from AMD Users requested their proteins@Home team via the form on their teampage which drives the teams DCR. I've added you in now so you'll show on the team DCR next time it runs.

Any chance that PiSegment could get added?

I'm crunching now to check the project out and I see a few other Free-DC participants. I'm hoping to get a team created soon but you have to meet certain requirements first. Seems like birdman could make us a team but hasn't yet.

    @Bok:

Sry, one of the few threads on this forum I rarely follow. Should've assumed that someone already asked. I'll keep up on it next time.

They are. At least their score was being generated and counted in the total, but a typo prevented them from displaying... fixed, they are in the boinc3 subheading now.

ABC@Home added to sigs, users, dcr etc.

Put the placeholders in for Pi Segment though I haven't done the parsing yet as it's impossible as it stands. I'll be in touch with the project to see if they can sort something out..

Bok: Is there plans to add Depspid stats to the sigs or are you waiting until they open registration to all?

On the stats page, you use pie charts to indicate the percentage the top 10 members in a particular project have contributed. On other stats sites, I've seen similiar percentages used to show what amount a given member contributes accross all that person's projects.

As another column in the sigs, do you think a percentage breakdown each project is to all the projects a member may be contributing to would be something worth showing?

    I.E

    SAP.........23%
    WCG........17%
    Seti..........34%
    RCN............8%
    Rosetta.......6%
    Nano...........2%

Looks like a fun new BOINC project is running BelgianBeer@Home

I added stats for it here

    Bok

  21. #101
Could you please add Overclockers Australia for SETI@Home (Boinc)? Also, any chance of updating the stats, as their a little out of date.

    Cheers

I do all the teams for every boinc project so you should be there. I do run the stats once per day on a home server, will upload them now.

Seti@Home is there (in alphabetical order).

I've added the team in to the list. Please note that it doesn't really do anything yet (just allows you to filter by team on the DCR page

Update seti stats are there now...

Made a few changes to the users.php and teams.php pages. They now display the DCR scores with any movement today.

Please note that the users page only display this if you have the 'display dcr rank' in signature checked on statstool..

    Added two new projects

    ABC@Home Beta

    and

    Distributed Rainbow Table Generator

ABC@Home data was migrated to the new beta version as the original will be wiped soon by the project and started at zero..

I've also added these to signatures, users, statstool, DCR etc and done the migration of the ABC@Home ones to the beta..

Let me know if anything is amiss.

The xml stats weren't ready when I looked yesterday evening, so it's still commented out of the driver..

Actually the beta one is running right now, it's the main one I've got commented out until the xml is reset.

Took a look at it and it appears to be all reset now, so I'll switch it on..

I don't think Euler stats are possible as you can't differentiate from users and teams IIRC.

    Hey Bok!

Did you add Google adverts to the site? Were the donations so low? I don't mind those adds at all, but they mess up the layout of my personal stats page. The box with all the projects with my creds isn't all the way up anymore, but about 2 to 3 inched down, leaving a big blue empty space. See the attached pic for better understanding.

    yes I did.

    Ok,

I'll look into altering that one, perhaps just put the adds at the top like I do on the main page.

I didn't notice as mine looks ok...

wow, TSC really changed things around in the team stats...if thats what cause the big shakeup....knocked us down to 4th...by quite a margin.

ps. bok, do you think that is weighted too much in the formula?

I think there is still a bug when a project is listed but no team has a team added. I've just added Free-DC so next update (in about 10 mins) we'll see if that fixes it. But yeah, those scores are way way off...
