Damn, Colin, you're a year older than me. It's a wonder you can remember anything!
Good to hear from ya, buddy.

Yeah, yeah yeah. I'm old, but so are all of you! Damn it's great to be back. I missed running DC projects. I missed my friends.

After seeing all those responses, I am overwhelmed! I think I'll take a nap now. That's what I'm good at now

Hahaha. Thanks. Been growing it out since March 2008. If I can get through this having long hair thing (which I -hate- having long hair) then the intentions are to burn it off on July 4th at a big kegger.

Wow, CaptainMoose, you look very much like my brother. You got Goatcher's in your family?
That I do not jasong. I'm one of those "memorable" faces. I get asked about 1-3 times a month if I'm such and such person or whatnot. I seem to look like a lot of people's friends that I don't know. :-p
Stouts and Lattea's are all I have going in my family. Go to West Virginia and grab a phone book, Stout will take up a HUGE section of it. :-p

Here is a brand new pic of me in my fancy new GIMPS shirt. If you are interested in one, they are now selling them on Mersenne Forum.
Jeff.
Good stuff Jeff! Here is a picture of me and my youngest daughter that my girlfriend took. We had been working in the garage. I am dirty and sweaty but I really love this one. Especially in black and white.
Yeah Jeff you don't wanna to know how "special" that photo is, Moogie doesn't do photos.....

That's definitely an "Aahhhh, int that nice". I've got my fave of one of my 'Terrible Twins' daughters at about a year an a bit sitting in a rocky chair having just fed herself for the first time with the consequent food every where but her mouth (which she wiped on mum's white silk blouse ) and that also is one of the few with both me and Issy and one of the kids all together. Long time ago now but very happy days as Issy was also still able to walk then. Really time to sort the millions of loose photos/slides etc lying around before they disappear. Happy memories DO last you a lifetime. and I will find time to sort a current photo out when I get back on my feet. Still trying to do too much and can't refuse to help people. Deffo worth a fortwo lovely gals that one.

Just for fun, I figured I'd post the link to my 24/7 broadcast from my apartment. Nothing bad, just me at home.

Nah, not a new camera. I bought it months ago and have been running a near constant 24/7 stream from my home since then. I have it embedded in my MySpace so anyone can see what I'm up to (if I'm home). I only stop broadcasting when I can't keep it PG-13 or less in my house.

Ah-HA! Another user of Fresh Step!

You had me puzzled there at first there Paratima. I figured it out though.
Yeppers, gotta have that Fresh Step. I can't stand the Wal-Mart brand "Special Kitty" or any of that other cheap stuff. My apartment is small and needs to remain kitteh-smell-less.

This photograph was made a few days ago, upon my return home from a medical appointment. Apparently I've a heart, but they're still checking to see if a brain exists.
That latter concern became apparent a short time ago, when upon registering here I was unable to find any avatar or signature function. Perhaps the Web, in its glorious majesty, was trying to tell me something....
=^..^=
It's an anti-spam function I'm afraid. Too many people have registered only to make a post with links in their signature to less than desirable web sites.
So it's restricted until a certain post threshold is passed.
Bok
Thank you, Bok, for your explanation. (I'd looked and looked, but -- Lo! -- no avatar function could be found.) Anyway, how many posts are required before one is permitted to have an avatar?
I appreciate your concern, regarding links in signatures. A trial period for avatars, though, is a bit off-putting.
=^..^=
10 currently. I globally stopped most all things. You wouldn't believe what spammers would try, including some inappropriate avatars.....
But go ahead, I've put you in the correct usergroup manually now.. you might need to logout and login again.
Bok
Bok, I shall now depart on The Great Avatar Adventure! Wish me luck -- and thank you for your consideration.
=^..^=
Behold my avatar, Bok -- and perhaps my signature as well! (It links to my Web site.) Anyway, it's only fair that I post another photograph after having used up space fussing about avatars and such like. As you can see, I'm proudly wearing my BOINC team "The Clangers" T-shirt; and Major Clanger himself is on hand to approve:
=^..^=
No problem. I better not go to the website right now though
I'm on a corporate LAN where much is restricted and everything monitored....
Ah, yes, the Clangers, NOW I remember
Another old guy post, but the pic must be a couple of years old, no red left now

Well Norfolk is the right county in the UK Angus, where I spent a lot of my childhood and I still, occasionally watch the Clangers tho' I most miss Muffin the Mule and Bill and Ben along with the most loved Magic Roundabout. So figger that out

It's really cool to see so many of the same people here after so many years. Popping in today was kind of like coming through your hometown after being away in the military for several years. It looks a bit different, but the locals are still around.
At any rate, Dyyryath these days:

Dyy!! So what are you up to these days? Looking pretty good.
