Thanks for the update. Have been playing around with this and it works great for BOINC projects. For some reason it doesn't seem to be working for any non_BOINCers:

Separate tables - I only did the BOINC ones. Will do nonBOINC as soon as I can.

Could sudoku@vtaiwan be replaced with the new project name sudoku and update the stats? The site is now at http://sudoku.nctu.edu.tw

It's the same project, with the same stats (as long as you re-registered they gave your old credits back), unfortunately the xml stats have not been updated since Jan 18th If we look in tables.xml the update_time is 1295328302, using an Epoch Convertor this translates to Tue, 18 Jan 2011 05:25:02 GMT.

So, the stats here are still checking of course and once they detect a change they'll update...

    1) Fixed the userbycpid and userbycpid2 pages so that it correctly displays the latest milestone for each project. These get archived periodically so it's coming from two different tables.
    2) Whilst in there, I added a link out to a new page showing all milestones for a user within an individual project (projusermilestones) (I just used the >> symbol here, if you can think of something better feel free)
    3) renamed the old projusermilestones -> projusersmilestones as it is recent milestones for all users across a project linked from the proj page
    4) As there was not much data displayed on screen here I added some dummy columns on either side to move it in to the middle a bit. Whenever I see this in other pages I'll do the same thing.

And just to prove I do, do some work around here.
Updated pages: project main page, userteamcomb and usercountrycomb so they now highlight your userid / cpid and team if entered in the statstool , this is already on the user and team pages..

    And now I'm a horse...

Really, it's a way for people who focus on Mega Milestones to have a way to measure how we'll they're doing "overall." Not sure it's the best way, but it seemed simple enough and interests me. Hopefully others...

    That would be telling

At least straight away. I always like to see if people can work it out first!

Oh and I'd avoid using stats5, those are where we test new stuff out, so things can break at any time... stick with the standard stats.free-dc.org..

  24. #504
    Ok, stats5 copied.

So, what This Many for Clanks means?
How many projects were been crunched simultaneously or what?

Agreed Bok & Goph, that would be telling straight away.... not to mention, sticking the proverbial "Horse's nose in water" Too bad they never drink when you want!.

(please forgive delay posting.... I've been down with a flu.)

Belated Happy Aniversary to Bok and Mrs Bok. (or is that Bok and 'Mr Bok'??????? LOL) (yes, I remember what 15+ years can do to ya...<GRIN>)

    Cheers all!

I surmise "Clanks" = amount of projects with FDC RAC > 0.

    Correct

Basically #projects where you have put in some credits in the last 28 days..

I lowered the minimum threshold to >9 to get on the list.

Yeah. A stat where I am number one.
I doubt my ranking will last long.

  30. #510

Propose to add "Churns" for users with an amount of (projects without credits during last 28 days) more than some threshold, > 9, for example.

    Greetings.

One stat I would really like to see is......

    "Join date number one rankings."

ie, Users who are number one in any given project for date they joined said project.

Those stats already exist but they are not categorized in the milestone list.

    That would be cool.

This seems like a silly question to ask, but it is timely: thus, "What is a Bok?"

I think in my mind that I know what a Bok is - A Bok is a DC pioneer and stats fiend who thinks in deep-SQL (and what a sexy language that is!) and creates QWERTY music all the live long day.
However there is now a shady riddle ... how would you count a Bok that is > 1 ?
    Wait!
There is more than 1 Bok?
    What the ???

Welcome to the conundrum of the Bok Stat.

    So lets get this straight.
If I now have 3 Boks can I spread them over timezones and have a 24 hour international "Bok support center"?
    Ummm.
    Doesn't sound likely.
If I now have 3 Boks do I get 3 times more of Bok's attention than someone with 1 Bok?
    Ahh.
    That's not going to werk.
If 1 Bok can run 1 stats server how many stats servers can 3 Boks run?
    Duh.
There's only 1 FDC stats server.

    Sigh.
This train of though is quite clearly reaching the end of an unfinished railroad.

Can you work out the "Bok" stat?

    If I may,
A 'Bok' is a very hearty and friendly type which will make all your problems magically go away......

Given AMDave's quandry and personal experience with a 'double Bok'.... does this imply there are more than ONE or that the ONE comes in two strengths: Regular and 'extra whollup' ?

I personally know a good dose of Bok will put me to the floor, after 3 Boks, I need assistance to walk correctly and not look like a total fool.

Regardless of a Bok or a double Bok, my worries were gone and the world was right again!

    Cheers,
    C.

True and thank you for the violation of protocol. I would be remiss if I did not invite the Moral Officer.

So to ya, sleep well and see you at rounds 1 and 2..... more to be scheduled as needed.
