merge split cpid with retired/inactive projects

Is there any way to merge my CPIDs here? In the FAQ I saw the pointer to BOINCstats forum and I have already used all those tricks including the Sync Retired Projects option over there. Is there a similar option here? Since the projects on the old CPID are all retired/inactive I can do nothing at the projects to fix the problem.

    Current CPID 4f6b6d806421e014100a51eda4532383

    Old CPID 5ec09cd506d5faeb8c7df5864e67b961

    Thanks
    Jeff

yup. Give me a few mins.

Ok, I *think* I got all the historic milestones and everything updated too, give it 30 mins or so to replicate into live and it should be done.. the MM's will regenerate overnight.

CAVEAT - If any of the old projects ever come back to life and export new data, it may re-populate the cpid with the old one, but then you should be able to alter your email address at that time on the project anyway.

Thanks that was fast. Everything looks good and all my numbers are now in one place.

Thanks for the reminder if a project were to wake up. Sadly I don't see any of those coming back.

Ok, should be done as soon as the replication into live occurs next.

    Works fine. Thanks Bok!

    Hi there!
Same issue here: while I was monkeying around with user names one project went bust and my creds "lost" to the old CPID.

    Current CPID (as ricman): 63b09448f25b2d132ba8b10a7d07725b

    Old CPID (as PapaCadu): 51d66a0f346886b24237089a5e4abc21

    Thanks in advance!

    Sorry, I just noticed this.

I'm conflicted on whether to do this one. How can I be sure this old one was you? When it's the same name I'm fairly certain but when a different name..

If the hosts were visible, we could check with them, but they aren't unfortunately.

Done, give it an hour or so to propagate and please note that though all those projects have not exported xml for a while, if they ever do, you will need to fix the email address at the project again.

Hi Bok. I seem to have the same problem with my cpid can you fix or merge my information for me? I never was able to get any projects to return to the original cpid with my attempts a few months ago. The projects on the old cpid are DnetC, AndrOINC, and Aqua which are all retired.
    Original cpid 40742792aa7401995b9d17537ded08f4
    Current cpid 97c2a0f44c11d4495421944dcdaf580d
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give me with this issue.

Done, give it 30mins for the caches to update and for the next combined score to run though.

If any of those projects for the old CPID are still exporting xml they will revert back unfortunately, most of them look old at a glance anyway.

    Done, but with some caveats.

The #2 cpid had no projects attached to it.

#3 has convector only and that project is still exporting stats so it would just overwrite on next update with the older cpid, you need to change your email address on that project and potentially run a wu on a machine which is also attached to some other projects.

#1 most of them look old so the updated cpid should 'stick' but some are also still exporting stats, like Rosetta, WCG and Ibercivis, you'll have to change on those projects as they'll revert again on next update.

To be clear, what exactly is it you would like me to do ? Change your name in inactive projects ?

Sorry about that chief. Let me explain it in another way. BOINCStatsBAM have synchronized Active and retired projets days ago. In Free-DC it has not for in my Team, I am still listed under three names. Please look at these:

    a. Agent2 [BlackOpsTeam] under CPID - 9838bf419a117456606005aa6f3eef7. In your combined List, this name is listed with a score of 678,072 and gives a rank 0f 169,192. It appears that this is a left over of sorts for it does not give a project name.

    b. PeTerShane. under CPID - 98a35c273ddb37247c31ab9c0a01de7. As above it appears with a score of 6,806 with a rank of 1,425,491. No project given.

Since Combined Stats are relatively new, I am wondering if the details are correct. All I am interested is to remove those two names from my BlackOps team. I realize that this might not be possible for you to do but I can manage that by deleting the members by the Founder. However, I do not wish to upset the stats aspect and am wondering if this is indeed a database error.

ok, that makes sense. Yes they are left overs when split CPID's occur. I tend not to do any automatic deleting in scripts (just in case....!).

    Done.
