Yeah. I know. This is absolutely nuts!
The news we can release is on the homepage:
http://www.seventeenorbust.com/
We've held back the news a couple days because the
user won't email us back. Check your email folks... could be you!
Anyway, hooorayyy!
-Louie
Well, seems like it's not me...
But hey, 3 primes in one and a half week - nice work guys!
I'm not sure, how 'bout posting the member name here (or at the homepage) in a few days? Maybe he hasn't checked emails lately or the mail was a victim of a spam filter...
If this person is a member of a team, you might try emailing a few other members of the team and ask them to contact the individual. Also, if the team has a forum, you might try there.

The link to the release (http://www.seventeenorbust.com/press3.txt) isn't working for me? Is it just me?

Louis,
Have you thought about what you will be doing next month when SoB is finished? A different kind of a prime?

Louis,
Have you thought about what you will be doing next month when SoB is finished? A different kind of a prime? Maybe you can cure all forms of cancer? I need a brain. Can you help me with that?
Colin Thompson
Woo hoo!
I'm looking forward to the project unofficially becoming ToB!
Again congratulations to all the members of SB team
and still waiting for the next one

WOW
I guess im not the one either, but it could be that i took the mail for junkmail. "You found a prime" might when you get to much junkmail sound like "You won a million", when you're sleepy:sleepy:
Anyways now were FOB
Well, does anybody know a postmodernistic publisher? - The amount of digits in each number fits a small novel quite fine! So we could publish the three primes as a triology; - we all know how good a triology sells, once it goes to the movies
Was the name of the person that found the 3rd prime going to be published? or at the very least team name (if they had one)
One last bump, could we please find out who found the 3rd prime!
If you have his IP, you still don't know who he/she is. When on a dailup it's even harder.I wonder why the sob team can't trace him from his IP ... or do they just not want to do that?
And why go for the touble?
They have his (user)name and his E-mail address. Sending him an e-mail makes more sence.
Although hard to imagine, not everybody checks his e-mail every day
My longest trip took 3 weeks during this year and during that time I didn't check my emails. May be that person has similar situation.
Yours,
Nuutti
apparantly... this is old news already... we don't even get time to celebrate our findings!
