yeah, apparently it was a typo. i reinstalled a couple of my clients and apparently just one set on the wrong team will send you off into the netherworld. i wasnt sure which one it was, so i just reset the teams on the ones i touched, and got back on the team on the next update.
so if you have 2 clients crunching for different teams, does it just keep bouncing you back and forth?

anyway, i have most of my clients back online again (plus the dual-core beast) at least until my labmates start reinstalling them....
