I turned on my Windows 2000 machine last night but didn't attach the monitor until this morning. When I plugged everything in to get networking set up I discovered that it hadn't booted into Windows, I had to reset the machine to ( 1) Get into Windows, and (2) get it to recognize my devices.

Is there any way to get it to boot into Windows without having to plug anything in but the power cable and the networking cable?

Hmm, I have a machine which has only power and network connection.

This is a Windows XP machine. In BIOS there is a point like "halt on error" and some options which I don't know exactly, but it must be something like continue booting even if you have no keyboard found.

I control this machine via remote desktop connection. Works fine for me. Using this machine as downloadmachine and file server...

Yeah, I'm using mine on a network, too. It's a brand new setup that's been running for about 5-6 hours.

It's on a network, but I'm afraid when it reboots it'll probably stall when it sees that there's only a power cable and a network cable attached.

Not if you follow what the-mk said, go into the BIOS and set 'halt on errors' to NONE, then it will boot without caring that there is no KB, mouse or monitor attached.
